Terms and Conditions for J. Valemonte's

Welcome to J. Valemonte's. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the engagement of our professional services, including Wedding Officiant and Loan Signing Agent services ("Services").

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing our website or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our website or Services.

1. Services Offered

A. Wedding Officiant Services We provide personalized wedding ceremony creation and officiating services. This includes consultation, custom script writing, and performance of the ceremony on the agreed-upon date. Our role is strictly that of an officiant; we do not provide wedding planning, coordination, or legal advice regarding your marriage license, which is your sole responsibility to obtain and provide.

B. Loan Signing Agent (LSA) Services As a certified Loan Signing Agent, we facilitate the signing of real estate loan documents. Our duties include verifying the identity of the signers, ensuring all documents are signed and initialed correctly, notarizing the required signatures, and returning the document package promptly.

Disclaimer: We are not attorneys, lenders, or escrow officers. We cannot provide legal advice, explain loan terms, or offer opinions on any transaction. Any questions about your loan must be directed to your lender or escrow officer.

2. Booking, Fees, and Payment

A. Booking Process An inquiry made via our website, email, text, or phone call does not guarantee a date for any Service. We will provide our availability once a service is requested. Once a date is confirmed as available, an invoice will be sent for a deposit or full amount, depending on the service requested. Payment of the deposit or full amount secures your date. J. Valemonte’s reserves the right to deny any service request.

B. Wedding Officiant Services All wedding packages require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date. The final payment schedule is as follows:

"The Shotgun Wedding" ($220): For services booked more than 72 hours in advance, the remaining balance is 72 hours before the scheduled ceremony date. For services booked within 72 hours of the ceremony, full payment is required to confirm the date.
"The Signature Ceremony" ($425): The remaining balance is due no later than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled ceremony date.
"The Dream Come True" ($550): The remaining balance is due no later than thirty (30) days before the scheduled ceremony date.

C. Loan Signing Agent Services All fees for Loan Signing Agent services must be paid in full prior to the signing appointment, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with the contracting title company, escrow officer, or lender.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

A. Non-Refundable Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable to reserve our availability and cover initial administrative work. At the sole discretion of J. Valemonte's, an exception may be made for a refund of a deposit if the cancellation request is made within 48 hours of the initial booking.

B. Cancellation of Services

General Policy: No refunds will be issued for any service canceled within 72 hours of the scheduled service date.
Wedding Services: If you cancel your ceremony after the final payment has been made and outside the 72-hour window, any refund of the final payment portion (less the non-refundable deposit) is at the discretion of J. Valemonte's.
Refund Processing: All approved refunds may take 10-15 business days to be processed and received.

4. Costs and Fees

The cost of all services includes time, materials, and legally required fees. Per Florida law, the fee for solemnizing a marriage is $30 and the fee for a single notarial act is $10. All other costs associated with our service packages are for additional services, including but not limited to custom writing, travel, and consultation time. Same-day service requests may incur additional fees.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information necessary for us to perform the requested Services. For weddings, this includes providing the valid marriage license at the time of the ceremony. For loan signings, this includes providing valid, government-issued photo identification for all signers. Delays or failures caused by your inability to meet these responsibilities are not the fault of J. Valemonte's.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of J. Valemonte's. Custom-written wedding ceremony and vow scripts are the intellectual property of J. Valemonte's; however, you are granted a license to use the script for your personal wedding ceremony.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, J. Valemonte's shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our Services. Our total liability in any matter arising out of or related to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Service rendered.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless J. Valemonte's and its owner from and against any claims, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of our website or Services or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this site. Your continued use of the website or Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
